Telephone Consultations with a Doctor
Sometimes problems can be solved and advice can be given by speaking to the doctor or practice nurse on the telephone. You can request a telephone consultation during the day with the doctor or practice nurse. The receptionist will take a note of your details and a brief message and the doctor or practice nurse will ‘phone you back at the end of their surgery or sooner if it is an urgent matter.
Test Results
If you have had blood tests or x-rays organised by the practice the doctor will review the results and if necessary he will call you to discuss the results or the receptionist will contact you to make a further appointment.
If you do not hear, then you can assume that no action is necessary. If you do want to telephone to check results please ring 01884 820304 between and 12.00noon or weekdays. Please leave a week from the date of your test before phoning us for results.
